BI’s Cirebon Regional Office Conducts On-the-Spot Training on Rupiah Cash Management at SSI COU Cire
The Bank Indonesia Representative Office (KPw BI) in Cirebon held an “On The Spot” event regarding the Soil Level at SSI COU Cirebon on July 14, 2026. The event was attended by representatives from the KPw BI Cirebon, banking institutions (Maybank, Bank BJB, and Bank Muamalat), and SSI management.
This activity is part of Bank Indonesia’s oversight of banks and Rupiah Cash Processing Service Providers (PJPUR) to ensure that Rupiah cash management processes comply with applicable regulations. In addition, this activity also aims to align perceptions regarding the implementation of the Soil Level through direct observation of the currency sorting process.
The event proceeded smoothly. During the event, the Cirebon Regional Office of Bank Indonesia provided guidance on soil level standards in accordance with Bank Indonesia regulations as part of efforts to improve the quality of sorting results and encourage the adoption of better operational standards by banks and PJPUR.
Through this initiative, SSI is committed to continuing to support the implementation of Bank Indonesia’s regulations and to improving the quality of Rupiah Cash Management services through operational processes that are standards-compliant, accurate, and sustainable.
