SSI Keeps Working During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Jakarta - When the government policy began in the second quarter by implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and continued with the New Normal Era to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, SSI continued to work / work normally because it was classified as an 8 business sector company that continued operating during the pandemic namely financial services and banking, Tuesday (1/9).
PT Swadharma Sarana Informatika or better known as SSI is part of the TelkomGroup which is engaged in the Rupiah Money Processing Service Provider (PJ PUR). The type of business is Cash Filling Services for ATM Machines, Maintenance and Repair of ATM Machines as well as Distribution, Processing (Sorting) and Depositing of Rupiah Currency. PJ PUR is a rupiah currency management company whose activities and legality are directly under the supervision of Bank Indonesia (BI). SSI is the largest PJ PUR company in Indonesia, covering an area all over Indonesia, the number of offices reaches 106 points, in all provincial capitals and other big cities.
The commitment with the employing banks is that they are obliged to keep ATM machines operating properly and the distribution of rupiah currency 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. During the pandemic, SSI's existence was increasingly needed because many banking branch offices were forced to close and implemented a Work From Home (WFH) policy for their employees. So that ATM machines are at the forefront of serving cash withdrawal transactions and non-cash payments.
Committed to employers to keep ATM machines operating properly, SSI continues to implement health protocols that have been implemented. Employee health and safety remains a concern and top priority for management.
Provision of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), such as masks, gloves, hand sanitizers, hazmat suits and other landings as needed are provided for employees who need them according to their respective job descriptions.
