SSI Becomes Resource Person for Bank Indonesia Institute FGD
The Covid-19 pandemic has had
a significant impact on all the veins of human life. Changes in behavior,
social order to economic conditions receive the consequences. In particular,
economic problems are also correlated with the circulation and use of cash in
the community. Bank Indonesia, as the state agency responsible for cash
circulation, is of course closely watching the incident. As a responsible
institution, Bank Indonesia found an anomaly related to the impact of the
COVID-19 pandemic that caused the economy to decline, but the need for cash
experienced an increasing trend in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2020.
As a follow-up to these findings, the Bank Indonesia Institute conducted research and one of them held a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) by inviting financial institutions that play a role in cash circulation in Indonesia, both banks, PJPUR and other cash management institutions to collect accurate data and information. from primary actors.
It is a matter of pride for
us SSI people, because in the FGD event, SSI was trusted as a representative
entity from PJ PUR's line of business. This trust is indirectly an
acknowledgment of the existence of SSI as a PJ PUR company in the eyes of
regulators.
SSI received a discussion
schedule as a resource on Friday, August 20, 2021, starting at 09.00-11.00 WIB.
The discussion was held virtually according to the rules for implementing the
Health protocol set by the government.
Discussion participants from
the BI Institute, attended by:
1. Hernowo Koentoadji
(Executive Analyst)
2. Elsa Dyahpitaloka
(Analyst)
3. Dito Prakoso (Research
Assistant)
4. Rizky Ayu Novita Sari
(Research Assistant)
The presence of SSI was
represented by the Director of Operations, Joko Sri Purwoko, who was
accompanied by Riezqi Agustawanto and Sufiyan.
On this occasion, SSI
informed about:
1. The condition of cash
management by the PJ PUR company before and during the pandemic
2. Constraints and challenges
in managing cash during a pandemic
3. Risk mitigation carried
out on problems that arise during the pandemic
BI appreciates SSI's
willingness to be a resource person, where many things can become additional
information and input from primary players in the cash management business.
It is an honor to be part of
a company that is trusted by various groups including regulators.
Hopefully, we can inspire all of us unsan SSI to work well, be trustworthy and fight together to grow the company.
