Jambi COU Participates in Vaccination Program
Like other countries around
the world, the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia, which was announced for the
first time in March 2020, has become prolonged and has a very significant
impact on the health sector and the country's economy. Where until now there is
no certainty when the situation and conditions will return to normal as before.
The number of people exposed is still fluctuating due to the effects of the
long holiday and the development of new variants of the virus.
Efforts to prevent the spread
of the pandemic have been carried out by implementing strict and consistent
health protocols to communities throughout Indonesia. Then mass vaccination
became the next effort.
In September 2020 the
government formed a team to develop a covid 19 vaccine. Then the vaccination
program started running in early 2021. Despite concerns regarding the safety
and effectiveness of vaccines, distrust of vaccine products and the issue of
vaccine halalness, apart from implementing strict health protocols, vaccination
is believed to be is the best way out to prevent contracting the virus and
provide additional body resistance / immunity against viral attacks.
SSI requires all employees to
be willing to participate in the covid 19 vaccination program. Where the
vaccine program in addition to following the schedule from the Telkom Group as
Holding, employees are also directed to register themselves independently for
vaccinations at vaccine centers, local health institutions and other
institutions that are extensions of the government. to accelerate the Covid-19
Vaccine.
CEO Region & Manager of
Central Operation Unit (COU) to visit/contact Telkom Office (Telkom Regional or
Witel) to support employee and family vaccines. SSI Head Office through the
Human Capital Division (HCA) also registers with several alternatives such as
Bank Indonesia, APJATIN and KADIN.
COU Jambi reported that he
had participated in a vaccination program following the Bank Indonesia Jambi
program in collaboration with Telkom Jambi. The vaccination activity itself
will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at EV Garden Jambi with the address
Lorong Uka no. 14 Red Paal Jambi City. There were 32 COU Jambi employees who
were also vaccinated, while 8 people were forced to not be able to participate
in vaccination activities because they had just recovered from being exposed to
the covid virus.
We wish the vaccination program a success and succeed in preventing the spread of the virus and providing additional immunity to humans. Healthy people, the economy grows and develops again, Amen
