SSI Participates in “Training of Trainers” Organized by Bank Indonesia NTT
In
order to increase understanding and knowledge of the Characteristics of
Authenticity of Rupiah Money and to foster a sense of Love, Proud and
Understanding of Rupiah in the province of East Nusa Tenggara, Bank Indonesia
organized a Training of Trainers activity as a series of activities for the
Beta Sayang Rupiah NTT (Gebyar Rupiah NTT) Educational Echo. The event was held
on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Kolbalo Room - Hotel Sotis, Kupang city.
This
activity carries the Tag Line "Keeping Rupiah in Southern Indonesia"
because NTT Province is directly adjacent to the territorial waters of
Australia and Timor Leste, especially Rote Island which is the southernmost
island of Indonesia.
The
participants who were invited were from banking representatives, PJPUR
companies, Posindo, Cooperatives, Pawnshops and other related institutions that
carried out processing of Rupiah money. Present to represent PT. SSI is Mr.
Victor N. Bogar, who is the Deputy CEO of Region VIII for the Bali and Nusa

The
activity was opened by I Nyoman Ariawan Atamajaya as the Head of Bank Indonesia
representative for NTT Province. In his speech he reminded all attendees to
always love, be proud and understand rupiah "if we love we must be proud,
if we are proud we must always understand it as in a relationship between
lovers" concluded Mr. Nyoman who really likes the atmosphere of the city
of Kupang and its special culinary.
The
activity became more interesting and lively when the 97 participants who were
present were invited to take the Kahoot Quiz. Quizzes that hone memory and
speed in choosing the right answer, make participants excited and cheerful
because if they succeed in answering quickly and correctly, the name of the
participant will appear on the big screen. Participants who are able to collect
the highest score from 10 questions will receive interesting merchandise from
the organizing committee.
In
the question and answer session, Victor as the representative of SSI asked the
question: "Are there any sanctions for people who refuse to transact with
coins, because it was found in several districts, the trend is that people do
not want to use or transact using coins?"
Where
the question was then answered by the resource person that, "The trend
that was found was indeed found by Bank Indonesia to have minimal transactions
with coins, but Bank Indonesia still issued small denominations with the aim of
maintaining price stability in the community. in society there is no more value
like two thousand five hundred and everything will start from three thousand
",
